PSG VS LIVERPOOL
Hands down one of the most exciting match ups of the Round of 16s. Two big clubs, looking to make history. On one hand, Liverpool is chasing their 7th Champions league title. Their last run came on 2019, where they beat Tottenham 2-0 to win their first champions league title after 14 years. On the other hand you have PSG, a team that have had super-stars after super-stars, but no luck in getting their hands on this prestigious title. They are still chasing their very first Champions League title.
1st Leg
PSG showed their strength. Outshooting Liverpool 27 shots (10 on goal) to 2 shots (1 on goal), also by controlling possession 70% to 30%. PSG also took the corner kicks, 14 to 2. On paper, PSG would have come out on top on this first leg, specially since this took place in the Parc des Princes, however, Liverpool took only one shot on goal to make it count where it matters most - on the scoreboard. Liverpool took the first leg 1-0.
2nd Leg
At Anfield, it was a different story. Liverpool showed why they are 6-time champs. It looks like Liverpool would take the game, however, Ousmane Dembele, tied this match at the 12 minute. No team was able to score taking this match to PKs where Desire Doue, broke Liverpool fans hearts. Sending PSG to the Quarter-Finals.

Atletico took no time and scored in the very first minute. Sending the Metropolitano to an extreme high and excitement. However, to my opinion, they should have won this match in regulation.
